The symptoms of this disorder are so severe that they can ruin relationships and make it hard for individuals to keep a job or perform daily activities. The severity of this disorder could even result in self-harm or even suicide.

But who develops bipolar disorder?

Pretty much anyone can develop bipolar disorder. It often begins in a person’s late teenage years or the starting years of the adult age.

It is not completely clear as to why individuals develop this disorder, but there could be several factors that would contribute to the development of it, such as genetics or the structure or function of the brain.

If the feeling of getting help ever arises and you’re faced with the worry of wondering where or who to go to, finding the right person who offers a sense of comfort and expertise to evaluate and diagnose this issue should be the first option.
